RCMP: Real Canadian Mega Power

We are launching a movement to transform Canada into a mega-power, and we are inviting you to join us. In our opinion, Canada should have already been a superpower.    

WHY?

THE ECONOMICAL FACTOR

We can no longer count on free trade for prosperity and a strong economy. As a mega-power, we will become extremely productive and competitive. We can boost our economy by inviting more people from all over the world to join us. This is how our existing industries will be expanding and adding millions of jobs. In a way, the newcomers will be our new customers who will come to us. This is a much easier task than chasing them all over the world.

As the population increases, we will improve our chances of competing in the world markets. These developments will allow us to enjoy a booming economy. It is a simple formula. On the other hand, should we decide to wait and do nothing, our economy will be liable to suffer, which will result in lower standards of living.

THE DEFENSE FACTOR 

                The Ayatollahs of Iran have demonstrated how humanity can be threatened by a fanatic regime obsessed with ruling the world. A threat as such could come from any place in the world at any time. Only as a mega-power could Canada be safe. We need a defense industry of our own. This way we can have a positive balance between importing and exporting military supplies and equipment.

THE EXTREME CLIMATE FACTOR

                Year after year we have been experiencing severe weather conditions resulting in death and destruction. We have been taking this gentle planet for granted. The new cities that are going to be built will protect Canadians from harsh weather and will show the rest of the world how we must live to survive against a hostile environment. The latest harm and death suffered from heat waves proves that our housing facilities are not designed to cope with harsh weather.

THE BIRTH RATE FACTOR

The west and soon the whole world are or will be experiencing a dwindling population. In our vision, our entire social and economic structure will be designed to help maintain a balanced population. Technically, humanity could become extinct if we all stopped reproducing for fifty years.

HOW?

PUBLIC ENTERPRISES 

The first step towards achieving this goal would be in transforming the federal government into a mega enterprise. We will work with the private sector to implement all types of projects aimed at generating income. It has been proven that high taxes are not helpful to maintain a strong economy. Generating revenues will be the wave of the future.

SAFER RESILIENT HABITATS

We will be introducing a new process of building housing units. Our vision is to copy the auto industry. Basically, housing units will be manufactured on mass through assembly lines. This is how the price of a housing unit will be reduced to a fraction by comparison to the traditional methods. The new innovative design will ensure that all buildings are safe and resilient.

AFFORDABILITY AND LOW COST OF LIVING

In the future, the emphasis will be on affordability. The new cities will be designed in a way where occupants are able to live without the need for private vehicles. Simplicity and practicality will be the driving force guiding our new vision. Our current lifestyle has developed without thinking about cost or the harm done to the environment.

To compete internationally, we must adopt a lifestyle that is the least expensive. Starting with housing and ending with all aspects of all economic activities. Robots will play a major role in every aspect of life and industry. AI technology will be present everywhere. The low cost of living will help us compete in all sectors of the economy.

We will be able to grow and process food, manufacture all types of machinery, and produce our own consumers goods at low prices. There will be no need to protect any sector of the economy, including milk production.

SELF-SUFFICIENCY

As a mega-power, Canada would become very attractive for investors. In a very short time, we will be able to develop an economy that is self-sufficient. Currently, most trillion-dollar companies are headquartered in the US. Eventually, we will have our own trillion-dollar corporations who will have their head offices located in Canada.

FAMILY REVIVAL

Families are the cornerstone of any nation. We aim to assist all citizens who are willing to start their own families. We cannot build a society without families. Our new low-cost lifestyle will make it easy for anyone to start a family. We will implement policies that will encourage and award those who are willing to have children.

Most importantly, thanks to high productivity and efficiency, the standard weekly work of 40 hours will be cut to 36 hours. An individual can work 4 shifts of 9 hours or any other arrangement that may involve 5 days. All these changes will be geared to help parents take care of their families.

The world has changed, and we must keep pace or risk being left behind. We do not need to follow or join another superpower or mega-power; we can do better by leading humanity in the right direction. Our mega-power will be built peacefully by an enterprising and active state. We cannot become a mega-power without becoming a mega financial power.

The US is first and foremost a financial mega-power. This great nation may not have the number of people to match China and India, but it does have the most billionaires and the largest corporations in the world. Astonishingly, the entire wealth is all in private hands. This advantage is what allows the US to be in a unique position ahead of all other countries. We aspire to be another mega-power protecting freedom, democracy, and prosperous economy.

 Our new vision will introduce a new economic philosophy. The state and governments will be generating revenues from investing in mega projects. Political leaders will focus on earning income from these mega projects and not solely on taxes. Working on building a financial mega-power and a real traditional mega-power will go hand in hand.  

You may ignore our appeal, or you may choose to be part of a history-making movement. The choice is yours. But remember how future generations will judge us if we leave them a damaged sick planet and a hopeless future. Yes, we do believe that Canada is destined to save the world. We hope to inspire every Canadian to believe in this mission and participate in it.
